This draped garden necklace is composed of wire wrapped flowers, densely clustered semi precious gemstones, hand linked freshwater pearls, sapphires, iolite and draped chains and dangling focal stones--a tribute to the richly detailed, free form and ornate beauty of a lush country garden.

At one side of the necklace is a flower of polished labradorite, at the other--deep iolite with clusters of beer quartz at its center. Between the two flowers are large freshwater pearls hand wrapped in gold fill wire. Below the pearls is a dense clustered length of australian opal, labradorite and beer quartz on gold vermeil headpins. Draped here and there are handmade chains of blue sapphire with white freshwater pearl drops, iolite, labradorite and delicate gold fill curb chains as well.

Below each flower are focal quality gemstones each amazing in their own right. A smooth drop of natural chalcedony, a plump, faceted golden rutilated quartz and a deep violet blue drop of iolite.
