Stunning color detail is highlighted in this one of a kind ring of Bali Star Coral set in solid 22k gold and sterling silver. The focal stone is framed in clusters of zircon, sapphire, labradorite, tourmaline and pyrite on 18k gold headpins. This ring is absolutely one of a kind and my goal in creating this highly detailed and luxurious piece was to celebrate the amazing color patterns and design in this gorgeous piece of bali star coral (a form of fossil coral which is a natural stone formed from ancient corals).

Along the edge of the stone I chose tiny rondelles of semi precious gemstones and placed them in clusters along the edge so as to highlight the colors present along the fossil coral's perimeter. Gray, taupe and dusty red shades of zircon give way to citrine, orange sapphire, mandarin garnet and then silvery labradorite and pyrite--even a few sparkling drops of pink tourmaline. There is much joy in the details of this ring!

I've set this stone atop a brushed sterling silver band 3/8 of an inch wide that measures a us size 7 1/2. The triangular stone is set at an attractive angle and the tiny rondelles move gently on their 18k solid gold headpins--an attention grabbing piece!
