A long oval cut of amethyst agate with delicate transluscent straiations is set in solid 22 karat gold and sits atop a sterling silver mount. The stone is accented with two solid gold dots on either side and a cluster of pale amethyst rondelles on 18k gold headpins at the bottom.

The ring measures a US size 7 on a simple silver band and all of the metal in this ring has been given a soft satin finish by hand.
